The Marketing Communications Specialist will lead efforts to build corporate brand recognition and support our clients in promoting their program successes.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develop marketing strategies for projects, including company websites and social media
  • Work closely with the business development team on program development and implementation
  • Consult with the federal client(s) to increase both internal and external awareness of their program successes
  • Analyze data to determine campaign efficiency
  • Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines
  • Develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results, and project recommendations to the senior management team
  • Research and submit award nominations on behalf of APV and/or our clients to showcase innovative
  • Collaborate with APV’s multimedia team to develop video promo scripts, case studies, and other marketing materials

Required Skills 

  • Proven ability to use social media to increase brand awareness and generate customer interest
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to translate technical language into user-friendly language targeted to specific audiences
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with federal clients
  • Experience in scriptwriting or collaborating on multimedia projects


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience in a marketing role
