Task and Duties:

  • Review incoming Task Order Proposal Requests (TOPRs), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Prepare proposals/capability statements/responses for small to medium-sized proposals and assist in the preparation of large proposals
  • Author appropriate proposal sections and help design graphic concepts using a variety of techniques
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting solicitation documents to develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, schedules, and other required proposal components to ensure proposals meet solicitation requirements
  • Gather and synthesize information specific to the proposal, tailored to the scope and evaluation criteria identified by the client.
  • Edit, layout, and format documents using common formats (Word, PDF) and ensure compliance to Government format/style requirements
  • Develop and maintain boilerplate content
  • Ensure that technical proposals adhere to corporate standards for quality through rigorous quality assurance procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications/Skills        

  • Degree from a Computer Science, journalism, communications from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of previous proposal development and delivery experience responding to US government proposals in a high-volume setting
  • Demonstrated experience developing and refining written content for proposals or other contractual deliverables
  • Review and contribute to proposal outlines and compliance matrices
  • Ability to balance multiple projects/tasks with superb accuracy, results-oriented, and attention to detail, which promotes and supports the full array of services necessary in a small business environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
  • Ability to work successfully and collaboratively in a matrix environment and proven record of fostering effective team collaboration
  • Experience with and proficient in the use of common tools such as Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Ability to understand the Technical Concepts related to Knowledge management and Computer science
